Afrique Nouvelle Musique (ANM) invites you to join Canada OYÉ 2026, a multicultural celebration highlighting cultural diversity, music, and community engagement.
On Friday, June 26, 2026, at 7:00 PM, at Artscape (180 Shaw Street, Toronto), audiences are invited to enjoy an inspiring evening of live music, cultural discovery, and artistic exchange.
The event will feature Train Wreck, a group of young Francophone musicians from the Greater Toronto Area, alongside special guests Hassan El Hadi, an artist and ambassador of Saharan musical traditions, and Tamsir Seck, a master percussionist and griot dedicated to preserving West African oral traditions.
As part of Canada’s celebrations surrounding the 2026 FIFA World Cup™, Canada OYÉ 2026 will also present “Soccer and Rhythms: One World, One Beat,” an interactive activity combining African percussion, freestyle soccer demonstrations, and a celebration of soccer as a universal language that brings people and cultures together.
